More information from the organizers:

Seattle Preparatory School is pleased to announce the Robotics Extravaganza on Saturday April 21st, from 9:00AM – 11:00AM. This event will highlight various Robotics activities which are happening with in the Catholic middle and elementary schools in our area.  The Seattle Prep Robotics Team will show student built robots playing a new game called the Robot Olympiad, which includes soccer, basketball, 50ft dash and Steeplechase (think obstacle course).

We encourage your school to form teams which can participate in a multitude of different ways:

1 – design / build something robotic which deals with autonomous vehicles. Think Tesla meets robot personal scooter, or what about the flying autonomous personal airplane?

2 – Design a robot which can play soccer on an 8ft by 8t field with a ping-pong ball. The robot should be remote controlled and should be able to play with three other bots on the field.  Robot should not exceed a LxW dimension of 15″ by 15” – no height restrictions.

3 – Just come hang out learn how your school can get involved, drive some mod the bigger robots, drive some of the sample robots.

These ideas are for inspiration and other projects are also welcome.
